Further honing his specialisation, he has attained the fellowship from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), a testament to his advanced skills in vascular and interventional radiology. His commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by his successful acquisition of the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) and the Diplomate of ICRI which underscore his comprehensive knowledge and skill set in diagnostic and interventional radiology. Notably, Dr. Harsha’s expertise is recognised on an international level with the EBIR certification—European Board of Interventional Radiology, marking him as a European board-certified interventional radiologist. Dr. Harsha has the expertise to perform both vascular and non-vascular interventions, such as GI & Body Interventions, Genitourinary Interventions, Peripheral Vascular Interventions, and modern non-surgical Interventions like Endovenous Laser Ablation/ Venaseal for varicose veins, Varicocele Embolisation, Uterine Fibroid Embolisation, Prostatic Artery Embolization for Prostatomegaly, and Radiofrequency Ablation for thyroid Nodules/ Goitre.

His extensive experience includes a tenure at the All-India Institute of Medical Science, Rishikesh, where he secured the top rank in vascular and interventional radiology fellowship examination. During his time there, he performed a multitude of vascular interventional radiology procedures ranging from GI & hepatobiliary interventions to peripheral interventions like angioplasty and stenting. He also excelled in non-vascular procedures such as image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, and ablations.

Prior to his fellowship. Dr. Harsha worked as a Senior Resident at PGIMER, Chandigarh. There, he developed his proficiency in a range of imaging modalities and kept abreast with new developments in radiology technology. He performed numerous vascular interventions, ablation techniques and diagnostic neuroradiology procedures during his time there.

Dr. Harsha’s educational journey includes an MD in Radiodiagnosis & Imaging from one of the premier institutes of the country- Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, where he secured top rank in the All-India entrance examination. He has gained in-depth knowledge in all imaging modalities including Non-vascular, Vascular and Neuro-Interventions. Additionally, he has done research in neurointerventional radiology during his residency. He has also contributed to many peer -reviewed publications.
