Dr. Praveen Ramachandra

Dr. Praveen Ramachandra is a highly qualified and accomplished endocrinologist with an extensive and diverse medical background. Having earned an MBBS degree from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore/Manipal University in 2002, Dr. Praveen Ramachandra went on to pursue further specialization in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. This was followed by a DM in Endocrinology in 2011 from Lala Laj Pat Rai Memorial Medical College (LLRMMC), affiliated with CCS University in Meerut, India, and SGPGI, Lucknow.

Dr. Praveen Ramachandra holds an MRCP (UK) in Endocrinology, awarded in 2012 by the Royal College of Physicians (UK). Additionally, the doctor has sought continuous improvement through various additional trainings, such as the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) course on Bone Densitometry and Osteoporosis in 2010, RIA (radioimmune assay and related techniques used in Endocrinology) training from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, in 2011, and participation in multiple Insulin Pump workshops since 2011.

The doctor’s post-registration experience is rich and diverse, having held positions at various prestigious institutions, including AIIMS, New Delhi, LLRMMC, Meerut, and SGPGIMS, Lucknow.

Dr. Praveen Ramachandra has served as a Consultant in Endocrinology at several renowned hospitals, including Columbia Asia Hospital, Panacea Hospital, Shetty Clinic, Fortis Hospital, and Mallige Medical Centre, among others. Notably, the doctor assumed the role of Head of Department in Endocrinology at ESI Model Hospital and Medical College, Rajajinagar, Bangalore, from December 2011 to 2019. In his previous assignment, Dr. Praveen Ramachandra held the position of Assistant Professor at Akash Medical College and Research Institute, Devanahalli, Rural Bangalore, a role that he assumed in 2020.
