Dr. Sunil is a Consultant Haematologist, Paediatric Oncologist and BMT Physician in the Haematology Department at SPARSH Hospital. He is an experienced professional with over a decade of rich experience in the areas of treating benign paediatric blood disorders, paediatric cancers and stem cell transplants. He obtained his Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology-Oncology from the prestigious B.J. Wadia Hospital, Mumbai. He has been an integral part of some of the best BMT programs in India. He firmly believes in an evidence-based and patient-centric approach. He has experience of conducting more than 500 bone marrow transplants.
He also has expertise in treating the following:
- Paediatric blood disorders like thalassemia, sickle-cell anaemia, haemophilia
- Paediatric haemato-lymphoid malignancies like leukaemia and lymphomas
- Paediatric solid tumours like Wilms’ Tumour, neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, hepatoblastoma, PNET and osteosarcoma
- Immunodeficiency disorders like SCID and CGD
- He has delivered talks at various regional CMEs and conferences and is a good orator. He has conducted research paper presentations at national and international forums (Seoul, South Korea & Dubai, UAE) and had written textbook chapters in various paediatric textbooks.
