Dr. Manohar S K

Dr. Manohar is a certified intensivist with a comprehensive medical background and extensive professional experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the field where he can effectively manage responsibilities and cater to the needs of both patients and the organization.

His medical journey commenced with an MBBS degree from JJMMC, RGUHS, followed by an MD in Anaesthesiology from Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Manipur University. Dr. Manohar further honed his expertise as an FNB trainee in Critical Care Medicine at Sudhamayi Hospitals and Clinics (Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences), Kochi. He holds additional certifications, including the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC).

In terms of professional experience, Dr. Manohar has served in critical roles at esteemed institutions. Previously, he was a Consultant in Critical Care at Baptist Hospital. Prior to that, he served as an Attending Consultant at Sakra World Hospital and as a Junior Consultant at Sparsh Hospital. His dedication to continuous learning is evident from his stints as a Registrar at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, and Fortis Hospital.

Dr. Manohar’s academic pursuits are reflected in his research and thesis work, including a comparative study of analgesic effects of intrathecal hyperbaric ropivacaine with dexmedetomidine and hyperbaric ropivacaine with clonidine in lower abdominal surgery. He also explored the feasibility of interval appendectomy without antibiotic prophylaxis.
