Dr. (Prof) Ranjan Shetty

Dr. Ranjan Shetty is a renowned Cardiologist, currently serving as the Lead Cardiologist and Medical Director at SPARSH Hospitals, Bangalore. Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, Dr. Shetty is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal heart health. He obtained his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in 2002, followed by an MD in Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2005. In 2007, he completed his DM in Cardiology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Shetty is a renowned expert in cardiology, particularly in interventional cardiology. This specialized field involves catheter-based techniques for diagnosing and treating heart conditions. He has contributed significantly to the medical field through research published in prestigious national and international journals. In recognition of his excellence, Dr. Shetty was awarded the Best House Physician award by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, on January 1, 1990, at AIIMS.

A member of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Shetty has also earned the Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC).
